Broccoli Cheese Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 c. flour
3 c. 2% milk
2 chicken bouillon cubes
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
3 c. fresh broccoli, chopped
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. lemon pepper
Preparation

Melt margarine in Dutch oven.
Saute onion and celery until tender.
Add flour, stirring until smooth (1 minute).
Gradually add milk, broth and bouillon.
Cook over medium heat 10 minutes, stirring constantly until slightly thickened.
Add seasoning. Stir in cheeses until melted.
Add broccoli.
Cover and simmer on low for 20 to 30 minutes.
Stir occasionally; do not let soup boil.
Serve with croutons.
