Deviled Swiss Steak - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 lb.) beef round steak
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. cooking oil
1 (6 oz.) can mushrooms
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
Preparation

Trim fat from meat.
Combine salt, dry mustard and pepper. Sprinkle over meat and pound with mallet.
In heavy skillet, brown steak slowly on both sides in hot oil.
Drain fat.
Drain mushrooms, reserving 1/2 cup of liquid.
Add mushroom liquid and Worcestershire sauce to skillet.
Cover and cook 1 3/4 to 2 hours. Add mushrooms a few minutes.
