Banana Spice Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 egg whites
    3/4 tsp. salt
    2 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. butter, softened
    6 egg yolks
    1/4 c. orange juice
    3 c. flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. good cardamom
    2 ripe bananas, mashed
Preparation
    Grease and flour a 10-inch or Bundt tube pan.
    Whip egg whites until foamy.
    Add 1/4 teaspoon salt and 1 cup sugar gradually, beating until peaks form.
    In another bowl, cream together butter and remaining sugar.
    Beat in yolks gradually.
    Add orange juice. Combine flour, baking powder, remaining salt and cardamom.
    Add to butter mixture alternately with mashed bananas.
