6 c. miniature pretzels
1 c. miniature round buttery crackers
1/2 c. butter (1 stick)
1 Tbsp. hot Mexican-style chili powder
2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation

Preheat oven to 275\u00b0.
In a large bowl, combine pretzels and crackers; set aside.
In a small saucepan, melt butter; add chili powder and sugar and cook and stir for one minute.
Pour over pretzels and crackers and toss to coat.
On an ungreased shallow baking pan, spread mixture in a single layer.
Bake until dry
and golden, about 15 minutes, stirring once.
Cool completely.
Store in a tightly covered container.
