Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. yellow cornmeal
    1 c. plain flour
    1/3 c. sugar
    3 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. melted shortening
Preparation
    Mix well.
    Pour into an 8-inch square pan and bake 20 minutes at 425\u00b0.
    (I melt 3 tablespoons of shortening in the pan I'm going to use and leave the extra grease in the pan.)
