Greasy Fried Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium Irish potatoes, sliced horizontally
    1/2 c. onions, thinly sliced
    1/4 c. Crisco
    1 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Wash and slice potatoes; do not peel.
    Heat Crisco in cast iron skillet.
    Saute onions; add potatoes.
    Over medium heat, fry until golden brown.
    Do not overcook.
    Season to taste.
