Strawberries Romanoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pt. strawberries
    8 oz. sour cream, cultured
    8 oz. light brown sugar
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1 1/2 tsp. light rum
Preparation
    Clean and dry strawberries.
    For sauce, mix all ingredients (except strawberries) with a wire whip until blended.
    Do not use blender.
    Refrigerate.
    When ready to serve, pour chilled sauce over chilled strawberries.
