Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 qt. vinegar
2 qt. water
1 c. pickling salt
1 tsp. powdered alum

Preparation

Bring to boil.
Pack pickles in jars as you slice.
Put 1 head of dill in jar.
Pour mixture over pickles and seal.
