Foolproof Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 lb. butter
    16 large marshmallows
    3/4 c. evaporated milk
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips, butterscotch or peanut butter morsels
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    In a heavy saucepan, mix sugar, butter, marshmallows and milk. Place on low heat after mixture comes to a boil.
    Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat; add morsels, nuts and vanilla.
    Stir until morsels are completely melted.
    Pour into a buttered dish.
    When cool, cut into squares.
