Ingredients

1 c. butter (not margarine)
3 c. sugar
6 eggs, separated
2 tsp. maple flavoring
3 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 c. sour cream
1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar well.
Beat in yolks,
one
at a time. Stir in flavoring.
Sift together flour
and soda.
Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour
cream.
Add
pecans and fold in stiffly beaten egg whites.
Pour
into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
Bake 1 1/2 hours at
300\u00b0
or until done.
Let cool in pan 10 minutes before removing.
