Oatmeal Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1-1/2 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1/2 c. buttermilk
    1-3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    3 c. oats
Preparation
    Cream shortening, sugar and eggs together until light and fluffy. Stir in buttermilk. Add oats, mixing well. Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 minutes.
