Pineapple Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 egg yolks
    1 c. sugar
    4 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 c. rich cream
    4 egg whites
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, baked
    1 can crushed pineapple (with juice)
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks, sugar, flour, butter and cream.
    Mix well and add crushed pineapple.
    Cook until thick and pour into pie shell. Beat egg whites and cream of tartar.
    Add sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Beat until stiff.
    Put on top of pie and brown.
