Wild Rice Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. wild and long grain rice
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 stick butter
    1/4 c. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1 c. whole mushrooms
Preparation
    Cook rice by package directions; set aside.
    Melt butter.
    Add flour.
    Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
    Add cheese; stir until smooth.
    Add the salt.
    Butter a 2-quart casserole. Alternate layers of rice, mushrooms and sauce; end with sauce on top.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Serves 8 to 10.
