Cabbage Slaw - Iowa Style - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 lb. cabbage, chopped fine
1 c. white vinegar
1 1/3 c. water
1 1/4 c. white sugar
1 Tbsp. salt
1 1/3 tsp. celery seed
1 1/3 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
-
Chop cabbage fine.
Boil remaining ingredients together until blended.
Cool.
Pour over cabbage.
May be prepared the day before serving, stirring occasionally to marinate.
