Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c. flour
3 heaping tsp. shortening
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix all together using enough milk to make a soft dough.
Roll out and cut into squares.
Peel and quarter 10 to 12 medium apples.
Place enough apples in each dough to have room to fold corners.
Place in a deep dish.
