Jim'S Buttermilk Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    3 c. flour
    1 c. buttermilk, soda added
    2 c. sugar
    5 eggs
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond extract
Preparation
    Cream Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs, one at a time, creaming after each addition.
    Add sifted flour to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk and soda.
    Pour in large angel food cake pan.
    Bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
