Creamed Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 long, thin, peeled cucumbers
    salt
    1 medium onion
    dash of pepper
    4 Tbsp. regular vinegar
    2 rounded Tbsp. sour cream
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers paper thin into a bowl.
    Salt layers generously.
    Add onion, sliced thinly.
    Cover bowl and refrigerate for 1 hour.
    Remove bowl 10 minutes before serving.
    Shake covered bowl and drain salted water by squeezing with hands.
    Combine vinegar, sour cream, sugar and pepper.
    Pour over cucumbers and return to refrigerator until ready to serve.
    More sugar may be added, if necessary.
    Serves 4.
