Ingredients

2 c. dried apricots
1 c. dried figs
1 c. dates
2 c. raisins (seedless)
4 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
2 lemons
Preparation

Cut up apricots, figs, dates and raisins.
Cover with cold water.
Soak overnight.
Add sugar and juice from lemons.
Cook slowly until thick, about 40 minutes.
Pour into sterilized glasses.
Seal with paraffin.
