Grandmother Louise'S Italian Spaghetti Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. Italian sausage
2 cloves garlic
2 (16 oz.) cans crushed tomatoes
2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
1 bay leaf
oregano to taste
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Fry sausage until well browned and cooked through.
Remove sausage; fry tomato paste in sausage drippings.
Fry until dark. Add garlic, oregano and bay leaf.
Simmer for a few minutes.
Add canned tomatoes; stir well, then add sausage.
Simmer for 2 to 3 hours, or as long as you like.
