Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak, cut into thin strips
    1/4 c. hot cooking oil
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 tsp. salt and pepper
    2 tomatoes, wedged
    cooked rice
    1 c. (1 inch strips) green pepper
    1 chopped onion
Preparation
    Brown steak in hot oil.
    Add garlic and cook until yellow. Add soy sauce, salt and 1/2 cup water to steak.
    Cook 25 minutes. Add green pepper, onion and celery to mixture.
    Cook 10 minutes more.
    Blend cornstarch with 1 cup water and stir into mixture. Add tomatoes and cook 5 minutes more.
    Serve hot over cooked rice.
