Summer Squash And Onions - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine or butter
    4 c. thinly sliced yellow summer squash
    1 large onion, thinly sliced
    1 1/8 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. freshly ground black pepper
    1/4 c. tomato juice
    scant 1/8 tsp. sugar
Preparation
    In a large skillet, melt the butter over low heat.
    Add the squash and onion; mix thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
    Add the salt, pepper, tomato juice and sugar.
    Cover tightly and cook over low heat for 15 minutes, or until the squash and onion are tender.
    Uncover to stir several times during cooking.
    Serves 4.
