Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs
    1 c. dark Karo syrup
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 stick butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans
Preparation
    Cook sugar until spins a good thread; add to well beaten eggs. Add melted butter, nuts and vanilla.
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
    Bake 10 minutes at 400\u00b0.
    Bake 30 minutes at 300\u00b0.
