Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 c. self-rising flour
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. vegetable shortening
1 tsp. soda
2 pkg. yeast
1/2 c. warm water
2 c. buttermilk
Preparation

Combine flour, sugar and soda; cut in shortening.
Dissolve yeast in warm water.
Stir yeast mix and buttermilk into other ingredients.
Roll and cut as desired.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Dough may be covered and refrigerated as long as a week. Can also be made into biscuits and frozen.
