Hash Brown Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash browns (Southern style)
    1 stick butter or margarine, melted
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    2 c. corn cereal
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, butter, onion, soup, sour cream and cheese; stir well.
    Spread mixture in casserole dish.
    Top with crushed corn cereal.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
