Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large finely diced potato
    1/2 c. finely diced green or regular onion
    2 c. chicken bouillon
    2 c. milk
    3 bay leaves
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/2 tsp. salt
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 c. flour
    2 or 3 slices American cheese
    1/2 c. real bacon bits
    sour cream and/or Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Dice potatoes and onion and boil until potatoes are almost tender. Heat chicken bouillon, milk, salt, pepper and bay leaves in soup pot over medium-high heat to almost boiling. Remove from heat and set aside.
