Shepherd'S Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 onions, chopped
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 Tbsp. parsley
    1 c. brown gravy
    1 c. tomatoes
    2 to 3 c. cooked meat (leftover beef or chop meat)
    3 c. mashed potatoes
Preparation
    Brown onions in butter.
    Add parsley, gravy and tomatoes, then meat.
    Bring to boil.
    Add salt and pepper.
    Cover and simmer 1/2 hour, until liquid is greatly reduced.
    Put mixture in shallow baking dish.
    Heap with mashed potatoes.
    Brown under a hot broiler.
