Peanut Butter Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1 c. peanut butter
5 c. corn flakes

Preparation

Mix sugar and syrup together in a large, deep pot.
Bring to a steady boil, stirring constantly so it doesn't stick.
Add the peanut butter and then remove from heat.
Once all has been blended evenly, add the cornflakes a little at a time until all flakes are covered.
(Don't use quite as many cornflakes if you like these chewy and not crunchy.)
Drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet until cooled.
