Acini Fruit Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. acini de pepe pasta
    1 c. chunk pineapple
    1 c. mandarin oranges
    3/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    maraschino cherries (optional)
Preparation
    Cook pasta; drain.
    Cool.
    Drain juice from all fruit and reserve.
    Cook juice, flour and eggs until thick to make custard. Pour custard over pasta and let set like pudding (2 hours), then add fruit and Cool Whip.
