Oatmeal Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. boiling water
    1 1/4 c. quick cooking oatmeal
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. brown sugar
    1 c. white sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Pour 1 1/2 c. boiling water with oatmeal and stir. Cool. Cream together butter and sugars. Add eggs, cooled oats, and beat well. Add flour, cinnamon, soda and salt. Spread in a greased jelly roll pan. Bake at 3501 for 25 minutes. Test for doneness. Make frosting and spread while warm.
