Roast Leg Of Lamb - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small leg of lamb
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 Tbsp. curry powder
    2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 onions, sliced
    1/2 c. dry vermouth or white wine
    3 whole onions
Preparation
    Sprinkle the lamb with lemon juice.
    Mix garlic, curry, salt and pepper to paste; rub into lamb (a day before roasting).
    Put roast in pan; arrange onions around.
    Roast at 400\u00b0 for 30 minutes. Drain off fat.
    Add vermouth (or wine).
    Reduce heat to 350\u00b0. Roast 1 1/2 hours longer, basting frequently.
    Three (1/4-inch thick, 3-inch square) slices contain 275 calories.
