"White Chili" - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    chicken breasts (1 per person; I usually have 6 to 8 per pot)
    Northern beans (raw, 1 lb.)
    1 onion (large), grated
    1 1/2 tsp. cumin
    1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
    1 Tbsp. ground oregano
    salt and pepper to taste
    2 cans chopped green chilies (mild)
Preparation
    In large pot, boil chicken (in water); remove from broth. Debone chicken and return to broth.
    Add beans that have been soaked overnight.
    Add onion and spices.
    Cook 1 to 2 hours.
    Add chilies last half hour.
    Good served with sour cream and grated cheese.
    Also very good served with corn bread.
