Frozen Curry Sauce(To Have Ready To Serve With Cooked Chicken Or Shrimp.) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 c. minced onion
    2 c. cubed Granny Smith apples
    10 Tbsp. flour
    7 tsp. curry powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. powdered ginger
    4 c. chicken broth (low salt)
    2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Melt butter in a large skillet; add onion and apples.
    Saute until just tender.
    Combine dry ingredients and add to onion and apple mixture, stirring to blend.
    Add stock and milk; cook, stirring constantly until thickened.
    Remove from heat; add lemon juice.
    Cool to room temperature; put in freezer containers and freeze.
    Makes 12 servings.
