Bananas Foster - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 large bananas, cut in half and sliced the long way
3 Tbsp. sweet butter
1 nip of banana liqueur
vanilla ice cream
1/2 tsp. sugar

Preparation

Melt butter in a large frying pan. Add the sugar. Place bananas in the hot butter and gently brown them. Pour the banana liqueur over the bananas and set it on fire. Swish the bananas around until the liqueur burns off. Place on a platter and top with vanilla ice cream.
