Shoo-Fly Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. flour
    1 lb. brown sugar
    1 c. butter or oleo
    1 c. molasses or King syrup
    2 tsp. baking soda
    2 c. hot water
Preparation
    Mix flour, brown sugar and butter into crumbs (reserve 1 cup crumbs for top).
    Add molasses (or King syrup), baking soda and hot water to crumbs and mix well.
    Grease and flour 3 pie plates or a 9 x 12 x 3-inch pan.
    Pour in mixture and sprinkle reserved crumbs over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
