Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (17 oz.) small English peas, drained
    1 (17 oz.) white Shoe Peg corn, drained (optional)
    1 (15 oz.) French-style green beans, drained
    1 (2 oz.) pimiento, drained and diced or 1 large pimiento pepper, chopped
    1/2 c. celery, diced finely
    1/2 c. onions, chopped finely
    1/2 c. green peppers, finely chopped
    1 can lima beans, drained (optional)
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. pepper (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    3/4 c. wine vinegar or white vinegar
    1 tsp. paprika (optional)
    1 tsp. poppy seed (optional)
Preparation
    Combine the first 8 ingredients, tossing lightly.
