Pepper Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. round steak
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 cube beef bouillon
    dash of soy sauce
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 1/2 to 2 c. water
    2 medium bell peppers
    1 medium onion
    2 jars (4 1/2 oz.) whole or chopped mushrooms (optional)
    dash of ginger
Preparation
    Sprinkle steak with tenderizer, cut in thin strips and brown in butter.
    Add 1 to 1 1/2 cups water and bouillon cube.
    Add soy sauce, ginger, salt and pepper to taste.
    Simmer meat until tender (20 to 30 minutes).
    Combine cornstarch and 1/2 cup water and add to meat.
    Cook and stir 2 to 3 minutes.
    Add bell peppers (cut in strips), onion (cut in rings) and add drained mushrooms.
    Simmer covered 7 to 10 minutes.
    Serve over rice.
