Chicken A La King - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. plain flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chicken broth
1 c. milk
2 c. diced chicken
3 oz. can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/4 c. chopped canned pimiento
Preparation
-
In a saucepan, melt butter.
Blend in flour
and salt.
Add broth and milk, all at once.
Cook, stirring constantly until sauce is thick.
Add chicken, drained mushrooms and pimiento. Heat until bubbly.
Serve over toast or rice.
