Southern Cheese Grits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. quick cooking hominy grits
    3 c. boiling, salted water
    1 slightly beaten egg
    1 c. shredded American cheese
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    paprika
Preparation
    Cook grits in boiling, salted water for 3 to 5 minutes or until water is absorbed.
    Add egg, cheese and butter.
    Stir until cheese melts.
    Turn into greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish.
    Bake at 325\u00b0 for about 15 minutes.
    Makes 8 servings.
