Cucumber Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cucumbers, sliced and peeled
    1 c. onion, peeled and sliced
    salt
    vinegar
Preparation
    Mix cucumbers and onions in a bowl with a lid.
    Cover with salt.
    Shake to allow salt to coat the vegetables.
    Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
    Rinse the salt off under running water.
    Add approximately 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar and 1 cup water. Mix thoroughly.
    Add more or less vinegar to taste.
    Serve chilled.
