Frosty Date Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. soft butter
    1 Tbsp. water
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    1/3 c. powdered sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    dash of salt
    2/3 c. chopped dates
Preparation
    Cream the butter and powdered sugar; add water, vanilla, salt and flour.
    Mix well.
    Stir in dates and nuts.
    Roll in 1-inch balls.
    Place 2 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake in slow oven (300\u00b0) for 20 minutes.
    While warm, roll cookies in powdered sugar. Makes 2 1/2 dozen.
