Standard Pie Pastry - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 2/3 c. Gold Medal flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. shortening
    7 to 8 Tbsp. ice water
Preparation
    Cut shortening into flour and salt until it looks like small peas.
    Then add water to hold together.
    Use a cereal bowl to cut out rounds for fried apple pies.
