Escalloped Oysters - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. oysters
    2 c. coarse cracker crumbs
    1/4 c. melted margarine
    1/2 tsp. salt
    pepper
    1/2 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix cracker crumbs and melted margarine.
    Arrange a layer of half buttered crumbs in bottom of a 9-inch round, shallow baking dish.
    Pour oysters and their liquid over crumbs in a uniform layer.
    Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
    Cover with remaining crumbs and pour milk over all.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 20 minutes. Yields 5 servings.
