Oatmeal Shortbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    10 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3 1/2 c. oatmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. In mixing bowl, cream together the butter or margarine, sugar and vanilla.
    Add oatmeal, flour and salt and mix together.
    Use your hands if you have to; spoon mixture into prepared pan and press down firmly.
    Bake about 30 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove from oven.
    Cut into squares.
