Sweet-Sour Potatoes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 medium potatoes, peeled, sliced and cooked in salted water
    5 or 6 slices bacon, fried crisp
    bacon grease
    1 c. sugar
    3/4 c. vinegar
    cornstarch
    1 small onion, diced
Preparation
    Peel and slice or dice potatoes.
    Cook in salted water until done.
    Fry bacon crisp and set aside.
    In bacon grease, add 1 cup sugar and 3/4 cup vinegar.
    Bring to boil until sugar is dissolved.
    Add a thickening of cornstarch.
    While potatoes are hot, add 1 small onion and the sauce, stirring well.
    Add bacon (crumbled).
    Serve warm.
