Ellie'S Pepper Relish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 green and red sweet peppers
    12 small onions
    vinegar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 hot pod of pepper (optional)
    2 Tbsp. mustard seed, ground (optional)
Preparation
    Run peppers through a food chopper with onions.
    Pour boiling water over them.
    Let stand 5 minutes and put in a cloth bag to drain.
    Cover with vinegar and add salt and sugar.
    Mix well and cook 5 minutes.
    Can and seal.
