Creole Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 to 1 lb. sausage
1/4 c. chopped onions
salt and pepper
1/4 c. flour
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)
1 can tomatoes
Preparation

Brown sausage and drain; add green pepper and onions.
Cook until almost done.
Stir in 1/4 cup flour, salt, pepper and tomatoes and cook until smooth, blended and thick.
Can also add cooked vegetables such as corn, green beans, peas, etc.
Can serve on top of cornbread or biscuits if desired.
