Syrup Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter
    2 c. dark corn syrup
    3 or 4 eggs
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Cream butter and syrup; add eggs and blend well.
    Combine sifted flour and soda; add alternately with buttermilk.
    Cook in a black iron skillet at 350\u00b0 until done.
