Tempura Batter No. 1 - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. water
1/4 c. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Mix ingredients into batter and dip whatever you like; such as vegetables, onion rings, squash cut French fry style, mushrooms, shrimp, etc. into batter, letting excess drop off. Cook in deep hot fat (350\u00b0 to 365\u00b0) until tender and browned. Drain on paper towel and serve warm.
