Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    3 c. sugar
    5 large eggs
    3 c. sifted cake flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. soda
    1 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. lemon extract
    1 tsp. lemon rind (dry)
Preparation
    Mix shortening, sugar, eggs, salt, soda, buttermilk, extract and lemon rind.
    Add flour, one cup at a time; beat well.
    Bake in greased and floured tube pan 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
    Cool on rack 10 minutes before removing from pan.
