Lemon Meringue Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

9-inch precooked pie shell
1 c. sugar
5 Tbsp. flour
3 egg yolks, beaten
1 1/3 c. water
2 Tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. lemon rind
5 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix sugar and flour together.
Add egg yolks and stir.
Add water and butter.
Cook over low heat.
Continue stirring until thick.
Turn off heat.
Add lemon juice and lemon rind.
Pour into pie shell.
Top with meringue.
Yield: 6 servings.
